IMPLEMENTASI TILAWAH PAGI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BACA AL-QUR'AN DI KELAS 5 MI DARUNNAJAH 2 CIPINING BOGOR

The decline of children's interest in reading the Qur'an in the digital era poses a significant challenge for Islamic basic education. This study aims to describe the implementation of morning tilawah as an instructional strategy for enhancing students' interest in reading the Qur'an at Grade 5 of MI Darunnajah 2 Cipining Bogor. The research employed a qualitative field research approach. The object of the study was the implementation of morning tilawah, while the research subjects were religious-subject teachers involved in the morning tilawah program and Grade 5 students of MI Darunnajah 2 Cipining. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques covering data reduction, data display, and verification. The findings indicate that the strategies adopted by the morning tilawah teachers play a significant role in creating active and enjoyable learning by employing innovative and interactive approaches, such as the use of Iqra' media and the Al-Qur'an, which encourage students to engage actively in religious learning. The program assists students in better understanding the Qur'an and applying religious values in their daily lives. The implementation has effectively increased students' motivation, fluency, and discipline in reading the Qur'an, while strengthening the religious culture of the madrasah.
