Asrama based education is a model of education that integrates academic activities and character development within a well-organized life system. This generation is referred to as “digital natives” and is characterized by rapid absorption of information, increased interactivity, and desire for on-demand, flexible, and tech-oriented responsive learning systems. Integrative Insan Terpadu Middle School (SMP Insan Terpadu) as an Islamic educational institution that applies asrama system faces challenges managing asrama-based education to meet the needs and expectations of Generation Z. Classrooms are designed to foster discipline, social solidarity, and independent living skills, which runs counter to the Generation Z’s desire for freedom, autonomy, and technology in learning. Therefore, the management of asrama-based educational services must be optimized in a way that responds to the characteristics of this generation while preserving traditional values that underpin the asrama system. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The research findings indicate that although SMP Insan Terpadu had an established managed system, there were gaps such as inflexible systems, limited application of technologies, and ineffective communication between the boarding management and the students. The findings of this research are anticipated to add value and a positive contribution toward the improving adaptive and responsive quality of educational services management in boarding school to better suit the needs of generation Z and the current times. Insan Terpadu Junior High School may thus foster a nurturing environment that promotes educational excellence not only academically, but also in character development, spirituality, and social skills skillfully preparing students to meet future challenges.
