Abstract

The technology access gap in education in Indonesia has become an increasingly pressing issue, especially after the shift to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many students, especially in remote areas, face major challenges in accessing the internet and adequate devices, resulting in a lag in learning and reduced social interactions essential to their development. E-learning is emerging as a promising solution, offering flexibility and accessibility in learning, and allowing students to access educational materials from anywhere at any time. To address this gap, concrete measures are needed, including the development of adequate technology infrastructure, subsidy programs for students from low-income families, and training for teachers in making effective use of technology. Collaboration between the government, private sector, and non-profit organizations is essential to create policies that support investment in digital infrastructure. With the right measures and optimal utilization of e-learning, it is hoped that all students can enjoy equal and quality education, and be ready to face the challenges of the future.
