Abstract

 The Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model is a student-centered Learning model, allowing learning through hands-on and contextual experiences, transforming abstract concepts into concrete. However, this model faces challenges such as teacher readiness and time constraints, but it has also been shown to increase students' interest in learning. This model also shows the potential to increase curiosity, creativity, independence, and responsibility in learning science. The purpose of this study is to see how the application of the project-based learning model (PjBL) has an impact on students' desire to learn about substance form perub material in science learning grade IV at SDN Kolor II. This research uses a qualitative approach and uses case studies. The results showed that the application of the PjBL model through six systematic stagesdetermining basic questions, designing a nutrijell manufacturing project, compiling a schedule, tracking progress, assessing results, and evaluatingwas proven to increase students' interest in learning. About 85% of students succeed in achieving their learning goals
