Abstract

Moral degradation and the emergence of negative behavior among early childhood have become serious concerns in the digital era. Early childhood is a crucial phase in forming religious values and moral character as the foundation for future behavior. Akidah Akhlak learning plays a strategic role in shaping children’s beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors in accordance with Islamic values. This study aims to examine efforts in Akidah Akhlak learning to prevent negative behavior in early childhood. This research uses a qualitative literature study method by analyzing various national and international journal articles published in the last ten years related to Islamic education, moral development, and early childhood character education. The results show that effective Akidah Akhlak learning is implemented through value internalization, exemplary methods, habituation, storytelling, and integration of religious values in daily learning activities. The role of teachers and parents, as well as the learning environment, greatly influences the success of preventing negative behavior such as aggressiveness, dishonesty, and lack of discipline. These findings imply that Akidah Akhlak learning must be designed contextually, holistically, and continuously to build strong moral foundations in early childhood.
