Abstract

This study aims to explore how Qur’anic values can be effectively internalized within modern educational systems to shape students’ character and moral development. Using a qualitative approach in the form of literature studies and interviews with educators and students, this research examines various methods and strategies that have been implemented to integrate Qur’anic teachings into the learning process. The findings show that the internalization of Qur’anic values not only enhances students’ spiritual awareness but also strengthens ethical attitudes, discipline, and a sense of responsibility within daily learning contexts. The study emphasizes the importance of educators as facilitators of values and the need for a curriculum that is responsive to contemporary demands without neglecting religious principles as the essential foundation of character formation. Thus, education that internalizes Qur’anic values can serve as a strategic solution in preparing a generation that excels intellectually and possesses noble character in an era of globalization. In addition, the study asserts that the implementation of Qur’anic values is not limited only to religious subjects but should extend to all aspects of learning and school life in order to create a holistic and comprehensive educational environment. The active role of all parties, including teachers, parents, and educational institutions, is crucial to ensure that these values are truly embedded and become part of students’ character. Therefore, education based on Qur’anic values is able to offer a balance between scientific advancement and character development, enabling young generations to become not only intellectually capable but also highly principled and wise in facing the social dynamics of the modern era.
