ANALISIS PEMANFAATAN VIDEO SYAAMIL SALMA YOUTUBE SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM (PAI) DI MADRASAH AL-JABAR

This study aims to analyze the influence of using educational video media from the YouTube channel Syaamil Salma on increasing students’ learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), particularly in the subject matter of the 25 Prophets and Messengers at Madrasah Al-Jabar, under the coordination of KKM 05 Universitas Bina Bangsa. The background of this research is rooted in the low learning motivation among students caused by conventional teaching methods that are less engaging for today’s digital-native learners. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation.
The results indicate that the integration of animated videos from Syaamil Salma significantly enhances student motivation. This improvement is reflected in greater participation during discussions, increased enthusiasm during lessons, and improved evaluation scores. Interactive visual media effectively bridge the gap between narrative-based religious content and the learning preferences of modern students, who respond better to visual and practical formats. The use of digital educational tools not only facilitates students’ understanding of religious material but also fosters a more engaging and meaningful learning experience. This study recommends the strategic implementation of digital media in PAI instruction to enhance learning effectiveness and student engagement.
