In the teaching and learning process, it is necessary to have the skill to design creative learning media that attracts students' interest in learning. Along with the times and current technological developments, learning media has certainly varied, a teacher can use sophisticated technology to design a media, of course this makes it easier for teachers to find or design media. However, in the use of electronic media, there are several obstacles in schools, especially private schools and remote schools where electronic devices such as projectors, laptops and others have not been reached. However, it does not rule out the possibility that a teacher can deliver lesson material using media, with a little creativity, teachers can design creative learning media that can replace electronic devices, and of course more interesting. The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative way to replace electronic devices, namely by using smart pyramid spectrum media. This media is made using unused items and then recycled into creative, innovative, and of course environmentally friendly learning media. The research method used is by conducting direct observation at a private school that has limitations in the use of electronic devices. The results of the study show that many teachers lack the desire and ability to create learning media and leave their comfort zone to teach using the lecture method.
