This study aims to analyze the implementation of brotherhood values in strengthening social solidarity through the Social Service Program of the Homecoming Alumni of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Batu Gantung Ambon in Langgur Village, Southeast Maluku Regency. The study is motivated by the importance of revitalizing brotherhood values and social care amid social transformation within modern and archipelagic communities. This research employed a qualitative approach using an intrinsic case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of the community’s social experiences during the implementation of the community service program. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation involving 18 informants consisting of alumni organizers, religious leaders, community leaders, village youth, and beneficiaries of the social service program. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the social service program was not merely perceived as a charitable activity, but also as a medium for strengthening brotherhood relations, social solidarity, and the cultural identity of hidup orang basudara within the Maluku community. The study further demonstrates that humanistic, participatory, and religious value-based social interactions were able to enhance mutual trust, social concern, and collective community participation. This research contributes to the development of studies on social solidarity based on religious communities and local culture, while also offering a relevant model of community service for strengthening social cohesion in archipelagic societies.
