This research focuses on an entrepreneurial approach through business development as a managerial strategy for realizing financial independence in Islamic education, using a case study at MI Nurul Qadim. The purpose of this study is to analyze the business development strategies implemented by the madrasah, their integration mechanisms within the financial management system, and their impact on financial independence and the sustainability of educational programs. This research uses a qualitative, descriptive case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results indicate that the development of madrasah business units, such as student cooperatives, healthy canteens, and school supply programs, was carried out in stages and realistically, according to the institution's capacity. This entrepreneurial approach contributes to the availability of alternative funding sources that support madrasah operations, increase financial management flexibility, and maintain the sustainability of educational programs. In addition to impacting the financial aspect, business development also fosters a culture of independence, responsibility, and collaboration within the madrasah environment. The implications of this research confirm that a professionally managed entrepreneurial approach based on Islamic values can be an effective strategy for strengthening the financial independence of Islamic educational institutions without shifting their primary mission as educational institutions. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of Islamic educational management studies by interpreting entrepreneurship as a strategic instrument integrated into a sustainable Islamic educational financing system
