Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Motivasi Kerja Karyawan Pada Usaha Sambal Bakar

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee work motivation at Sambal Bakar Business. The research is grounded on the assumption that effective leadership and a conducive work environment play essential roles in fostering employee enthusiasm, particularly in micro and small enterprises. The study employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method and utilizes Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4.0. The population of the study consists of 30 employees, all of whom were included as respondents (census method). The results indicate that leadership style has a significant influence on the work environment, meaning that better leadership practices lead to a more positive perception of the work setting. However, both leadership style and work environment do not have a statistically significant direct impact on employee motivation. These findings suggest that other factors, such as job satisfaction or compensation, may play a more dominant role in influencing motivation. This study implies that efforts to improve employee motivation should adopt a more holistic managerial approach, beyond focusing solely on leadership and workplace condition
