TELAAH MAKNA QS. AL-ISRA’ (17): 32 (PERSPEKTIF VERIFIKASI POSITIVISME LOGIS J. AYER

Adultery is considered a heinous act because it involves violence and sexual deviance that affects both the perpetrator and the victim. Adultery is also said to be a bad way of life, as stated in QS. al-Isra' (17): 32. Based on scientific facts, this surah and verse show that adultery is a heinous act because it causes violence against women, deep trauma to women, loss of honor in the eyes of society, and even murder. This study aims to show that the verses of the Qur'an can be verified through A.J. Ayer's logical positivism theory to reveal the meaning of QS. al-Isra '(17): 32. The results of this study show that the verses of the Qur'an are not only believed to be holy scriptures through the heart and mind, but can also be believed by being verified so that they can be seen directly.
