KONSEP KEADILAN TUHAN PADA HARI PENGHAKIMAN PERSPEKTIF ALKITAB DAN AL-QUR’AN (PENDEKATAN INTERTEKSTUALITAS JULIA KRISTEVA)
Keywords:
God's Justice; Day of Judgment; Bible; Qur'an.Abstract
This research originates from the fundamental belief principles of two major religions, Christianity and Islam which adhere to different scriptures namely the Bible and the Qur'an, regarding God's justice. God's justice is a foundational theological principle that must be believed by both Muslims and Christians. Based on several verses examined in this study, namely Romans 2:5-6 and 2 Corinthians 5:10 from the Bible, and Surah Ali-Imran verse 182 and Surah Al-Anbiya' verse 47 from the Qur'an, the meanings of God's justice on the Day of Judgment can be identified from the perspective of both scriptures. This is a library research study employing a descriptive-analytical method of biblical and Quranic verses, utilizing Julia Kristeva's theory of intertextuality. The research findings from these verses align with several of Julia Kristeva's intertextual principles. The principles identified include parallelism, transformation, expansion, haplology, and existence. Parallelism is characterized by God's recompense aligning with human actions during life. Transformation pertains to the understanding of good deeds from both biblical and Quranic perspectives. Expansion is indicated by the types of sins exemplified, while haplology and existence relate to the depiction of God's judgment on the Last Day.
