Surah An-Naḥl verse 69 mentions honey as a healing substance for humans, which in modern studies is classified as a form of i‘jāz ṭibbī (medical miracle) in the Qur’an. This study specifically explores the benefits of white honey (al-‘asal al-abyaḍ) as explained by Dr. Sayyid Jumaili in his work I‘jāz Ṭibbī fī ‘Ulūm al-Qur’ān. Using a qualitative approach and library research method, this research combines analysis of classical and contemporary tafsir with modern medical findings. The study reveals that white honey has superior therapeutic properties compared to other types of honey: it is easily digested, does not sharply raise blood sugar levels, and contains active compounds with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects. The scientific validation of its healing content is supported by laboratory and clinical studies, making the verse a compelling example of medical i‘jāz. This study confirms the integration between divine revelation and modern science, while offering novelty by focusing on the rarely discussed category of white honey in both classical Qur’anic exegesis and scientific discourse.
