Frugal Living Dalam Perspektif Al Quran : Hidup Sederhana, Penuh berkah.

Abstract

Frugal living is a frugal lifestyle that focuses on using wealth wisely and proportionally, not just refraining from spending. In the context of modern society that is vulnerable to consumerism and the pressures of a digital lifestyle, frugal living is presented as a practical and spiritual solution. This concept is in line with Islamic values that teach simplicity, prohibition of excess (israf), and the importance of balance in spending wealth (tawazun) This article uses the maudhui (thematic) interpretation approach to collect and examine the verses of the Qur'an related to the principle of frugal living. This method allows for a complete thematic understanding of the concept of simplicity in Islam. The study shows that frugal living is not only economic in dimension, but also a form of self-control and worship that can bring blessings to life. Thus, the frugal lifestyle is worthy of being applied as a manifestation of the values of qana'ah, iffah, and zuhud in modern Muslim life.
