Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of principal leadership on the development of quality culture in Permata Kraksaan Integrated Islamic Kindergarten. Quality culture is a crucial element in building a supportive, productive, and focused educational atmosphere on continuous quality improvement. The principal as the leader of an educational institution plays an important role in creating a quality culture through policies, role models, and empowerment of human resources in schools. This study applies a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational method. The research sample included all teachers and educational staff of Permata Kraksaan Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, totaling 20 people, who were taken using the total sampling method. The tool used was a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale to assess two main variables: principal leadership and quality culture. The analysis conducted showed a significant influence between principal leadership and the formation of a quality culture, with a determination coefficient of 0.68 and a significance value of 0.003 (<0.05). The results of this study indicate that the more efficient the principal's leadership, the stronger the quality culture that is built in the school environment. Thus, the development of principal leadership competencies is an important factor in encouraging the achievement of quality education at the early childhood education level.
