Analisis Kepribadian Qur'ani: Perspektif Keseimbangan Ruhani dan Jasmani pada Mukmin, Munafik, dan Kafir dalam Tafsiran Islam

This article examines the three types of human personality as outlined in the Qur’an—believer (mukmin), hypocrite (munafiq), and disbeliever (kafir)—through an integrative approach that emphasizes the balance between spiritual and physical dimensions. The Qur’an does not merely classify internal human states, but also correlates them with behavior, quality of life, and ultimate existential purpose. The believer reflects harmony between faith and self-control. In contrast, the hypocrite demonstrates a conflict between inner belief and outward action, resulting in an identity crisis. Meanwhile, the disbeliever denies spiritual values, showing dominance of the material self. Using a thematic Qur’anic exegesis (tafsīr maudhū‘ī), this study reveals that equilibrium between the soul and the body is foundational to the formation of a comprehensive Qur’anic personality. Imbalance between these aspects may lead to moral deviation and spiritual emptiness. This research contributes to the development of Islamic psychology, the understanding of Qur’anic character, and spiritual anthropology in personality studies.
