SOSIALISASI PERAN PEREMPUAN DALAM PENGUATAN EKONOMI KELUARGA DAN DAMPAK PERNIKAHAN DINI SERTA UPAYA PENCEGAHANNYA DI SMAN 1 KELEKAR

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance students’ understanding of the role of women in strengthening family economic resilience as well as the impacts of early marriage and its prevention efforts. The activity was conducted in the form of a socialization program for students of SMAN 1 Kelekar, Suban Baru Village, Kelekar District, Muara Enim Regency. A qualitative approach was employed through material presentations, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to explore students’ understanding and responses to the delivered topics. The results indicate an increase in students’ awareness of the importance of education for women, future planning, and the social, educational, and health risks associated with early marriage. Furthermore, students demonstrated a more critical attitude toward issues of gender equality and the role of women in family economic development. This activity is expected to serve as an initial step in shaping a generation with social awareness, educational readiness, and the ability to make informed decisions, thereby contributing to the improvement of human resource quality and the welfare of rural communities.
