PENGUATAN LITERASI KEAMANAN DIGITAL, ETIKA BERINTERNET DAN PENCEGAHAN JUDI ONLINE DI LINGKUNGAN RW 02, KELURAHAN AREN JAYA

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought various conveniences to society, but on the other hand, it has also introduced risks such as low awareness of personal data security, weak internet ethics, and the rise of online gambling practices. This condition was found in the community of RW 02, Aren Jaya Village, which still faces limitations in understanding the safe and responsible use of the internet. This community service activity aims to increase digital security literacy, foster internet ethics, and prevent the negative impacts of online gambling thru an educational and participatory approach. The methods used include socialization, education, interactive discussions, community assistance, and the development of a simple population registration system as a form of technological support. The activities involve residents of RW 02, elementary school students, and posyandu mothers as the main partners. The results of the activity show an increase in public understanding of the importance of protecting personal data, recognizing digital threats, behaving wisely on social media, and increasing awareness of online gambling. The participation and enthusiasm of the community throughout the event demonstrate positive acceptance of the program being implemented. This activity has a real impact on building public digital awareness and strengthening the role of students as agents of change. Overall, this service program contributes to creating a safer, healthier, and more responsible digital environment at the community level.
