PENINGKATAN KESIAPSIAGAAN BENCANA PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI PERMAINAN ULAR TANGGA MITIGASI BENCANA

This community service activity was motivated by the lack of understanding of elementary school students at SDN 2 Pupus, Ngebel District, Ponorogo Regency, about disaster mitigation, especially landslides, even though their school is located in a disaster-prone area. The purpose of this service is to increase students' knowledge and awareness of disaster mitigation through innovative and fun learning materials. The method used is an educational game approach by developing a snakes and ladders game with disaster mitigation content. The implementation includes several stages: initial coordination, game development, socialization, implementation of learning using the game. Students were also more enthusiastic and actively participated in the learning process. This activity shows that the snakes and ladders game is an effective tool for teaching disaster preparedness to elementary school children, helping them understand abstract concepts in a simpler and more interesting way
