IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN AKIDAH AKHLAK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKHLAK TERPUJI SISWA KELAS VI MI BAITUSSALAM MOJOLABAN

The teaching of Akidah Akhlak in elementary schools plays an important role in shaping students' religious character. However, the implementation of this teaching still faces various challenges, both from internal factors such as teaching methods and external factors such as the influence of the students' environment. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Akidah Akhlak teaching in an effort to enhance students' moral character in grade VI at MI Baitussalam Mojolaban, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. The method used is a qualitative approach with techniques of observation and interviews with teachers, students, and the school principal. The research results show that Akidah Akhlak teaching conducted through lectures, question and answer sessions, and role modeling by the teacher can improve students' morals, especially in aspects of honesty, discipline, and mutual respect. The habituation of moral values at school, such as communal prayers and time discipline, has been effective in the internalization of character. However, inhibiting factors such as the influence of the external environment, social media, and inconsistent parental involvement become major challenges. In conclusion, although Akidah Akhlak teaching is running well, further support from the environment outside the school, especially from parents, is needed to strengthen the holistic character development of students.
